Happy iPhone Day!

I finally took the plunge and got the iphone! I was always team Blackberry but after having problems with it, I switched teams! And I don't regret it at all! Yay!

It's so pretty! Yay!

I heart Carmel!

Went to visit a venue for the wedding in beautiful Carmel! The weather was amazing there today! We got there early and walked around downtown Carmel. Tom and I both liked this place so if we can work on some of the details then I think we're close!

Pizza time!

Tom and I made our own pizzas today! We made a BLT pizza that had tomato sauce (made from scratch!), yummy bacon, creamy mozzarella, and arugula (to act as the fancy lettuce). It was super good!

The first pizza was so good, we made a cheese pizza next! We should open a pizzeria! haha!

Must find a wedding location!

I spent the day googling wedding locations! There are just so many choices, it's becoming overwhelming!

I think I've looked everywhere and have narrowed it down to a couple of places.

By the end of the wedding, I will become a wedding expert! haha!

Columbus Day!

Had the day off from work today! It was a great day to lay around on the couch and spend time with my Jacoby! Tom also came over to watch MNF! Fun lazy day on the couch!

 

Yellowcard!

Went up to SF to try and catch some of the Blue Angels festivities with Debbie and Kat but ended up at a house party! Haha!

Then we met up with Jackie and went to Slims for YELLOWCARD! Totally re-lived our college years! We had actually seen them at Slims like 8 years ago! I wish they played more old songs but still had a blast!

Busy busy Saturday!

Today was a busy day! Went up to Half Moon Bay to look at a wedding site with our mothers. We're getting closer to finding a venue!

Then I met up with Kat to go to Costco. She needed my help to get food for her camping trip! I had never gotten so much food at Costco before!

This wasn't even all of it! We then needed to reward ourselves so we drank a wine and prosecco! After that we had an adventure in Cupertino! haha!

Happy Friday (and my 200th post)!

Spent my Friday babysitting Gio while Tom went to SF to enjoy the Whiskey Fest!

I read magazines while Gio napped! haha!

The Yankees Lose!

I love baseball!

Finally watched Moneyball! The movie was really good and just validated why I love the game of baseball so much! Brad Pitt actually played Billy Beane very well! I definitely need to re-read the book. To be honest, I never really finished it and skipped parts of it! haha!

Wedding Location Hunting!

Went to visit a possible wedding location today! It's a B&B in Half Moon Bay and absolutely adorable! So many flowers and so close to the beach and to the downtown area. We will definitely take our mothers to view the location to see if they love it as well!

Since we were in Half Moon Bay we had to go to Sam's Chowder House for clam chowder and some oysters! It's just a couple of miles down the road! Woohoo!

Who doesn't love birthdays?

Today was Tom's nephew's 7th birthday! He actually had a whole weekend birthday extravaganza! Lucky kid!

I bought him a Berenstain Bears Halloween book and Tom bought him a Star Wars Lego set!

We had a nice dinner at Tom's parents house along with individual sized ice cream cakes for everyone!

Then we played a game of Disney Apples to Apples! I love how that game brings out the competitiveness out of everyone! Even the kids!

We did it!

Today was the day of our big race! The Bridge to Bridge 12k! I admit when the race started I was nervous I wouldn't finish but I did! And my time wasn't too bad! I finished the race in 1:34:34 which was 1,946 out of 2,242 overall! So I wasn't last! Woohoo! haha!

Tom finished the race in 1:01:14 which was 304 out of 2,242 overall! Wow!

Go Quakes!

Went with Tom to the Quakes game. Got this free backpack which I think is perfect for the race tomorrow!

We had to make sure not to drink too much either which is always hard at sporting events! Haha!
