BBQ!

Had a work BBQ today for a couple of reasons! One of our coworkers was leaving on maternity leave and also for Tom and I's engagement!

We got some ribs from Whole Foods (love their Friday deals!) and got tons of sides and even dessert! Ate wayyyy too much! haha!

Run run run!

Bought new running shoes for the Bridge to Bridge race this Sunday! I actually went to a real running place so I could get the perfect pair for my feet and running style! I guess I'm officially a runner now! Sort of...!

The end of the Red Sox season was heartbreaking. Totally gut wrenching. I fear for the brutal offseason.

On the other hand, I won in one of my fantasy baseball leagues. So there's that!

Pumpkin!

Tom and I drank a lot of pumpkin ales while in Boston so naturally I requested Tom to brew his own pumpkin ale!

We took the inspiration from Dogfish Head to hopefully brew an even better one!

So much to plan!

Tom's sister in law was nice enough to pass along her wedding planning books! Looks like I'll have wedding fever for 9 months! So much to do!!

Now and Zen!

Kat, Anh Thi, and I went to the Now and Zen concert in Golden Gate Park! Alice 97.3 was hosting the free concert where Michelle Branch and Goo Goo Dolls performed! It was super fun even though it rained a little bit!

After the concert, we went to my brother's place for some BBQ! Yummy!

Celebration time!

Went out to lunch with Tom to celebrate our good news!

Checked out the new San Pedro Market and I really like it! Plus the pizza place is awesome! I'm glad downtown has something like this now!

Woohoo!

Present for Gio!

I didn't want Gio to get jealous from all the presents that Jacoby got so I had to get him a present too!

 I think he likes it! haha!

Happy Birthday Jacoby!!

My sweetie turned 2 today! I can't believe he's 2 already! I feel like I just got him! Time flies when you're having fun! haha!

For his birthday I got Jacoby a ton of new treats and a brand new toy! He loved it so much he took the squeaker out! haha!

Post Vacation Treat!

I've had a super craving for shaved ice and I found out that the Korean food court on Lawrence Expressway sells them! This one was banana flavored and had chocolate syrup! Kind of like a Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey! So good!

Bridge to Bridge!

Look what was waiting for me while I was in Boston! My bib and time tracker for the Bridge to Bridge race!

I've totally been slacking on my running training but still really looking forward to it! Hopefully I can finish in the allotted time! haha!

Boston Day 4!

It's our last day in Boston! So sad! In order to maximize the time on our trip, we checked in our bags at Logan super early (we actually had to wait about 15 min. because we were too early!) and then headed over to Harpoon Brewery for the tour and tasting. It's a much more thorough tour than Sam Adams and you definitely get more free beer! It was a great way to finish the trip! Until next time, Boston!

Boston Day 3!

Even though I've done the Fenway tour several times, everytime I go to Boston it's something I look forward to! It's such a beautiful ballpark and since I only see it once a year, it's something really special! We had gotten the batting practice tour but unfortunately the players were not taking batting practice at that time. So in return, we got to go onto the field! It was SO EXCITING! I was on the same field as the Red Sox! Amazing!

Afterwards, met up with more friends! Besides going to Fenway, the best part about Boston is to meet up with all my wonderful friends!
